Hello to our friends and acquaintances. This is our first entry into the electronic domain to provide for ourselves a record of most of our travels and how we have seen the small parts of the world we visited.
Our planning for this trip has been a year in the making and is coming to fruition at incredible speed , the speed directly related to how much time we have left to finalise the details of packing, particularly clothes. Pauline's comment regarding many light layers is coming home to roost, due to the "many". The stuff is laying on the spare room bed and the pile is growing.
We have visited our children and grandchildren and can then, with a fond farewell from all of them fly out. The offer of a lift to the airport for a 12.05AM flight has been most welcome, and Daryl can double up as taxi driver for Renee on his homeward journey.
This also afford me the opportunity for practice on the keyboard and, hopefully,improve my speed as there will be much, much more to type.
